Seldovia Summer Solstice Festival Agreement 2012

agree to perform in the Seldovia Summer Solstice Music Festival on Friday, June 22 or Saturday, June 23, 2012.
In return for my performance, I understand that the Seldovia Arts Council will provide my housing for the days of the event and will provide the a stipend for transportation across the bay to and from Homer.
I understand free transportation will not be provided for my spouse, family or guest who is not a performer and that housing for my spouse, family or guest is provided only if that person stays in the same bed with me. Private homes will be used to house festival performers in addition to local hotels and Bed and Breakfast establishments. A pass to the festival will be issued to you upon your arrival in Seldovia. Guests will be responsible for purchasing their own tickets.
I agree that during my entire festival visit, I will not perform outside the Festival venue during the Festival program or perform for payment or tips at any other venue after the Festival program unless 50% of my payment or tips is given to the Seldovia Arts Council.
(There may be festival sponsored venue events other than the SBE School events at which I can perform.. such as the Songwriter’s Circle at the Tidepool Café and others to be announced.)
I also understand that since the Festival is being held at the Seldovia School, no alcohol is allowed on the school grounds and smoking is permitted only outside the facility. I agree that the Seldovia Arts Council is not responsible or liable for my actions in the case of my use of alcohol or drugs. I also understand that any damage caused or charges’ resulting from my use of these substances is my responsibility.
